Chick-fil-A Kicks Off Hunger Action Month with Up to $1 Million Donation and Expanded Local Impact

ATLANTA (September 1, 2026) – Hunger affects millions of people across the United States, with one in seven people in America experiencing food insecurity, according to Feeding America’s® Map the Meal Gap study. During September’s Hunger Action Month, Chick-fil-A® is expanding its ongoing efforts to help address hunger, partnering with local Chick-fil-A restaurants and nonprofit partners to help neighbors facing hunger access food in communities across the country. Chick-fil-A restaurants in select U.S. markets will host fundraisers benefiting local hunger relief partners, with Chick-fil-A, Inc. providing up to $1 million in matched donations to Feeding America partner food banks. 

These efforts build upon Chick-fil-A’s ongoing commitment to helping address hunger in its communities through initiatives such as the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program and its longstanding partnership with Feeding America. Through initiatives such as the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, disaster relief efforts, Chick-fil-A’s donations to local food banks, and Chick-fil-A True Inspiration Awards® grants to community partners, Chick-fil-A, Inc. has helped provide the equivalent of more than 200 million meals since 2020.
